Who we are

Any job, any scale

From changing a washer on a dripping tap to converting a barn — and everything in between. Family-run, Milton Keynes based, specialising in rental property.

Precision Installations is a family-run building, carpentry and property-maintenance business based in Milton Keynes, with more than 15 years’ experience behind it. The thing that sets us apart is our range. Most firms sit at one end of the scale or the other: either they will only quote for the big jobs, or they are not equipped to take on anything structural. We do both, with the same people and the same standard.

So if you need a washer changed on a dripping tap, a sticking door eased, a cracked tile replaced or an extractor fan that has given up looked at, please do ring us. Those are genuinely worth our time, and they are the jobs most people struggle to get anyone to turn out for. At the other end, we take on full property refurbishments, structural alterations, extensions and barn conversions.

Where we specialise is rental property. A large part of our work is refurbishing properties between tenancies for landlords, letting agents and property managers — turning voids around quickly, to a standard that lets well and then keeps letting well. That work has taught us to be practical about cost, honest about what actually needs doing, and quick, because an empty property is costing someone money every week.

Our approach is the same whoever is asking: listen properly, give straight advice even when it means recommending the cheaper option, and deliver work we are happy to put our name to.

How we work

Clear advice, careful work, a finish that lasts

Every project is different, but the way we run them is consistent—so you always know where things stand.

1. First conversation

Tell us about the property and what you would like done. We will talk through the options honestly, including where a simpler approach would serve you better.

2. Visit and quotation

We visit to measure, assess the work properly and understand the finish you are after, then provide a free, no-obligation quotation.

3. The work itself

We keep the site tidy, keep you updated, and take the same care over the details as the structure—because the detail is what you live with.

4. Finishing and handover

We walk the completed work through with you, deal with anything outstanding, and leave the property clean and ready to use.

Let’s talk about your property

Whether it is a ten-minute repair, a void turnaround before the next tenancy or a full conversion, we are happy to take a look and give you honest advice.
